The Trials, Victories & Adventures of Los PaulOS

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. ~ 1 John 4:18

Revelation!

On Tuesdays I have a regular meet up with my MAG guys. MAG stands for Mentoring and Accountability Group.

This group is a homogeneous group. In other words, it's just only MEN. We discuss mainly, men issues and share our struggles and pray and offer suggestions how to grow together. Some may ask how different is this from cell?

I find it very different from Cell because, we are all at a similar level of commitment to the Lord. All of us who are in this group of mine are faithfully serving the Lord in a leadership or misnitry capacity. Our issues are quite different from the ones shared in cell. There is always a level to which we can share at cell in order not to stumble the "younger" ones. It is one of the places where I get my "input" so that I can "output" at cell.

So to me, the MAG is to help me where the Cell can't actually help me. Here I grow together with my brothers and we share deeply about our lives, our struggles and our victories. Almost nothing is left uncovered; Our relationships, our prayer life, our thought life, etc I am glad to have this group of 8 brothers who are consistent in their commitment to meet up and be accountable to one another.

Last Tuesday, we gave each other some "homework". We're supposed to come up with our findings and explanation on "End Times" in particular Rapture. circa Revelations 19 & 20.

Anyone who's got any good reading material that you can suggest, I'd gladly appreciate you pointing me on books to read or refer to.

It came up when a few of us have different ways of explaining it. So we've asked each MAG member to perform some research and discuss this at our next meeting so that we can all learn/teach and edify one another. You may ask.. Why is this important? I believe it's important to solidify our understanding in this area as there are unbelievers and believers alike who will ask these questions. It's always good to be prepared with an answer.
1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

So, likewise in your walk with God, always set Christ as Lord. And since HE IS LORD, we are charged to be responsible with knowing what is contained in His Living Word.

    Heh heh. Pretty funny.
I sympathize, knowing how terribly inefficient the cops back home can be. Sounds like they haven't changed.
