Well it's the new year.. what's there to write about?
Well so many things have happened.. but dare I say that they were interesting enough for your reading pleasure? oh well here goies
We got sick..
Yeah Em I were sick during December.. the flu struck.. I guess we were both tired from all the festivities of Caroling, Christmas Rally, Children's Christmas party and my company dinner,
But thankfully.. I got better, and Em took a bit longer.. she had the cough until nearly new year.. She bought some "sea coconut" drink and that did the trick for her. For me it was the Cap Ibu Dan Anak.. :) REgular doses... helped clear the FLAM.. .. no no.. it's PHLEGM!.. yeah the green and yellow stuff. hehehehe
Anyways..
Vineyard officially started this week on Tuesday 6th of January with our students. To date we have about 7 kids.. ages from 6 all the way to 16.. :p
Well we pray God will continue to expand and grow this ministry-cum-business of ours. We pray that GOd will use us, especially Em to "Touch Hearts & Change Lives" of the children and the parents.
What's amazing is the people start trusting us even when they've only heard of us for a short while. I guess people are desperate to help their children. We believe God's gonna do a good work in these children.
We pray that we will remain faithful to this calling. Pray with us too...
Last week I got news about my cousin Jo-jo.. (Josephine) who's now in Australia.. She was involved in a car accident. Her car took a couple of turns.. the wrong way.. i.e. flipped. She was found upside down, but thank God for seatbelts. SHe only sustained bruises and possibly a minor collar bone fracture.
Tonight we're going to her dad's place ( my uncle Lawrence) and they've asked us to pray for her and family over the phone.. Yeah long distance prayer over the phone to Australia and pray with the family.
I thank God for the opportunity to pray for her and her family.
Some pictures of the car
